Reflexology and What It Can Do For You

Reflexology is an age old healing system, dating back to Ancient India, China and Egypt. It is a non-intrusive complementary therapy, working with reflex points on the feet (or the hands) that relate to various parts of the body. It encourages the body to heal itself, increases circulation and helps to eliminate toxins in the body. It is a relaxing, peaceful therapy, giving the receiver time and space to let go and switch off.

I have treated myriad of clients ranging from those that simply wanted to de-stress, to those who had issues with fertility, pregnant women, people with emotional issues, elderly clients suffering with circulatory and back problems and so on. Anybody can benefit from a treament, we all have health issues or emotional upsets, life can be a rollercoaster and reflexology provides the calm.

I make sure that I have regular reflexology or reiki treatments in order to keep my mind, body and spirit in a positive, healthy place. Even just a short 15 minute session, gets me back on track. It is essential to my wellbeing. We all need to take better care of ourselves and take some time out of our increasingly busy and stressful lives.
